In 2006, PEBBLES MEDIA DESIGN was created as a side venture to explore and expand our skills in both technical writing and web design. PEBBLES MEDIA DESIGN began with an occssional contract and now we are freelancing regularly. About The Founder
Before graduating with a Specialized Bachelor of Arts Honours in Translation and her Certificate in Technical and Professional Writing at GLENDON COLLEGE (York University), Alessia began working as both a translator and a technical writer, and she has never looked back.
For the past 17 years, Alessia has worked hard to solidify her skills in TECHNICAL WRITING & EDITING, WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT, GRAPHIC and PRINT DESIGN. She is able to provide her clients with everything from the initial concept to the completed project, including the written content.
In 1998, Alessia began her career as a technical writer by writing and editing a wide range of documents, from Software User Guides to APIs. Her role expanded from being part of a small Technical Writing Team to sole writer to branching out and learning web development and becoming the web design lead.
In 2011, Alessia began freelancing full-time and has found it tremendously rewarding, having been able to produce a variety of websites for small businesses in her area and develop an online training system for a long standing client as well as provide Marketing Collateral to various start-ups. In addition to the web work, she has also continued to work with a variety of clients to develop their technical documentation as well as edit their Marketing Materials to ensure readability and accuracy as well as clearly promote their business in a positive way.
Alessia produces top quality documentation, marketing and web projects quickly, always meeting deadlines and adapting to the unexpected. By being adept in the latest development tools, she is able to learn her clients' products easily. Her experience and skill-level allow her to meet her clients' goals in a fraction of the time of less experienced freelancer specialists.

Alessia holds a Specialized Bachelor of Arts Honors in Translation from GLENDON COLLEGE at YORK UNIVERISTY (Toronto, ON) along with a Certificate in Technical and Professional Writing.
